“We were very lucky to have Lory as a teacher. We loved to learn that Lory has been making pasta since she was a child up help her grandmother with her business. In this and other ways, Lory made this cooking experience a very personal one. It didn’t feel as if we were having a workshop at the restaurant, but rather in Lory’s kitchen where instruction was organically intertwined with storytelling, jokes, and good wholesome family fun! We joined this experience with our three little children who were never left behind. Lory made sure they all stayed on track helping them sometimes herself and guiding other times to do steps on their own. I highly recommend this experience and this instructor.”

“We chose this class because we had an extra day in Rome and had seen all the main attractions. It was a great class. Desi, our cooking instructor was sweet, informative, helpful, and very patient with us. We made tiramisu first so it could be refrigerated and we each made our own. Then we made the dough for the pasta and divided it in two parts – one for the fettuccine and the other for the ravioli. She was very informative about the size of the pasta and he type of sauce to use with it. She looks over all our work and helps us to make it or roll it or cut it correctly. We were then brought to a large table where we were served our cooked creations for lunch with wine and were served our own tiramisu for dessert. Overall, a great experience and a lot of fun.

She weaved humor into the class in a very natural way. Time flew by and before we knew it, it was time to eat our fettuccine and tiramisu!”
