Description

Take the opportunity to live a professional experience of Christmas pasta class and special dinner in the center of Rome in Piazza Navona enriched with Christmas Markets. Follow the explanations of Mastro Pastaio Stefano Minnucci, the best pasta maker in Italy, and create three types of pasta.

During the workshop, you will learn three types of pasta: the classic tortellino, the reginette and the cocoa fagottino. In order to prepare these pasta specialties, you will be provided with all the ingredients. Then, sit back and enjoy your meal with wine tastings.

Learn and deepen the technique to make a good dough. In fact, our chef Stefano will explain the dosages of the flours, the secrets of each type of pasta. You will start from the tortellino, the classic shape of Christmas pasta. Subsequently, we will move on to the stuffed pasta, in this case the cocoa fagottino with pumpkin filling. Then, you will learn how make a very delicate long pasta, the reginetta.

In other words, a triumph of flavors to celebrate the upcoming Christmas and experience all the excellence of Italy. Moreover, each type of pasta will be suited by a rich and tasty sauce and a glass of wine dedicated to the dish.

What to expect

The tortellini will be served in capon broth and suited with a dry, fragrant and full-bodied white wine produced in Lazio, Pecorino.

The reginette will be served with a ragù of white meats and artichokes, paired with a still, delicate and fruity wine, a Chardonnay.

The cocoa fagottini stuffed with pumpkin will be served with a sauce based on speck and hazelnut butter, tasted with a Morellino di Scansano with a robust and intense flavor.

After the workshop, you will have a standing aperitif, consisting of the chef’s fancy Christmas canapes and Prosecco.
